Special Needs Families

Twenty years ago, 1 in 150 children were diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Today, it’s 1 in 36. Even beyond autism, chances are you’re the parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, neighbor, or friend of someone with special needs. And, no matter the disability, there is a growing need for Indiana’s special needs families to have a greater voice in the Statehouse.

As the father of a son on the spectrum, special needs advocacy is an issue that sits at the heart of my campaign. From early childhood intervention to workforce development, I believe it's time for special needs families across Indiana to organize around the issues that affect us all.
